Leigh Carter personal training originates from London, England, where for the past 15 years it has excelled in offering the best service and results for its clients. The facility was situated in London’s most prestigious borough, Kensington, home to the Royal Family and the city’s elite residents. Working with a diverse spectrum of clients, from Broadway stars, famous actors, pub landlords, rugby professionals to grandmothers of 10! In early 2014, now married to a Canadian girl, a decision was made to relocate the business and family, from the hectic life in London to the tranquil setting of beautiful Kelowna.
At a young age whilst at high school, Leigh Carter founder of the company, had no intention of pursuing a career in fitness, overweight, and the last person to be picked for the team, the idea of being in shape and capable of participating in any sports was the last thing on his mind. However, upon leaving school Leigh decided to lose the weight. Over the next two years he studied and applied various different techniques in his local gym and started to realize that this process was not only something he enjoyed but also something that he was very good at. It was then that he decided to take his studies further and turn this into his career. Leigh spent six years acquiring many diverse qualifications and applying his newly gathered skills upon both himself and his clients. During this time Leigh studied with some of the best organizations, from C.H.E.K, Crossfit, CYQ, YMCA to Advance Kettlebells and THUMP boxing. His favourite being Gym Jones, which is considered to be one of the best facilities in the world, training a wide range of athletes and preparing actors for movies. They are the creators of the famous “300 workout”. Leigh Carter is a Level 3 Certified Master Personal trainer and is fully insured.
From my experience and years and studying and applying fitness training I’ve come to realize the most important thing a person can achieve is optimum health, functionality and strength. Everything else is secondary to great health.
You only have one body and when it works at its best everything else is easier. Through fitness you enable yourself to do all the things you want to do and enjoy life to its fullest!
